A Post For All Scouters
Greetings Scouters, My name is Tom Kuster and I am the Council Commissioner for the Daniel Boone Council. Periodically, I will be writing a post in the Long Rifle discussing commissioner service and how it can be a benefit to your pack, troop, crew or team. The goal of this post will be to educate all scouters on why we have commissioners, how you as leaders can utilize commissioners to help your unit and finally to encourage adult leaders to continue their scouting journey by becoming unit commissioners. I would also like for this to become an open dialogue with all scouters and commissioners. If you have any questions, suggestions, complements or concerns about commissioner service I would love to hear from you. So please look for my next post in the Long Rifle where I will discuss a little of the history of commissioner service in scouting.
